Pomarri — Local services in Orem

My name is Matt Thornton, I wanted to post my thoughts and feelings about Pomarri. I came to Pomarri months ago very sick and and ready to give up on life. One Saturday morning me and my wife were frantically looking for a drug rehab for myself and we called many places and Pomarri answered, It was meant to be and the nicest lady answered and asked me some questions and said come on in and we will get you going little did I know it was Tara owner of Pomarri and me and my wife Talked with her for about two hours and as she explained how things worked and if I wanted to come here me and my wife both had an overwhelming sense of peace about everything. The big thing for me was I needed to be on a taper of suboxone I was withdrawing really hard and she was so kind and helpful and she got me on a taper that I really needed. So I started out doing day treatment every day and this was amazing and has given me the tools I need to keep on this amazing path of recovery so as time went on I just want to say you honestly feel like your family there and all the staff are very nice and caring and the best part about it is I know you have to make money to stay in business but the amazing part is they make sure that you know your recovery is most important and even though it takes money to run they make sure you don’t stress about finances or anything like that because there number one thing is your recovery and you as a person and becoming healthy is most important and I really love that about Pomarri so as things have gone on with myself I have transferred from day treatment to IOP and am going to classes 3 nights a week but I love it so much I try to come as much as possible because I honestly feel so comfortable and have taken so much from the classes here and it feels like a big family and even the clients care so much about one another I know this all honestly sounds to good to be true but the truth is it’s all so true and I can honestly say this is an amazing rehab and I wouldn’t change coming here for the world I have had no failed drug test and continue to keep coming as much as I honestly can. I can truly say to Tara and the staff of Pomarri my second family thank you for saving my life and teaching me about the tools I need to know for recovery I couldn’t thank you all enough I am excited about my life and this amazing new journey for myself....

I hope that Utah finds a way to recognize this program as the greatest program I have ever been a part of and I’ve been a part of at least 15 to 20 and this was the only program that could get through to me a very special thanks too DR KING For recognizing the things I needed before things got out of hand without you and the other staff I could not tell you what would’ve happened to me. I’m looking forward to seeing you every month Dr. king I hope you see this and hope you know I didn’t see you just as a doctor, but I saw you as a friend And I can’t wait to start seeing you on a monthly basis at Silver Creek. I personally feel like you you’re an idiot if you don’t use Pomarii. Unless you don’t wanna change, then we don’t need you there thank you to All and to anybody that reads this don’t think twice get on the phone and get your ass there. I love all of your staff members and you’ve made a major change in my life. I will be seeing you soon. PS Utah needs to get that monopoly away from Wasatch. I don’t know what they did to get it but they have it and they abuse it only for money they don’t care about their patients and I have seen this for more than two decades thank you POMARII with all the love in the world. Well I went here to try and get help they are not a good place to go for help they refused me saying that they didn’t take my insurance (which was a complete lie) I had just got out of rehab and was sent to pamorrii because I my out patient program closed for good and they refused me services told me I had to pay for them even though Lena explained how they had to bill my insurance they still wouldn’t help me they don’t care about there patients there they only care about money and I was still seeing dr Barry getting my subs and I had been seeing him for at least 6 months then all the sudden because two of his prized patients assaulted me and lied and got me charges they all the sudden don’t take my insurance anymore when number one they should not have been talking to other patients about me it’s against the HIPAA laws they are not trust worthy and if your addicted to meth when you go in you can just ask for Adderall and he prescribes it to clients without adhd and I know two clients that abuse them I am sure there is more so they really don’t want to help you get clean they just change your one addiction for another or they get mad at you or take something out on you and lie saying your insurance isn’t covered anymore after they get you on medications you withdraw from or just give you another addiction to pills you don’t need so you can abuse them DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY ARE LIARS AND THE BOARD OF MEDICINE SHOULD BE LOOKING MORE INTO WHY THEY PRESCRIBE SO MUCH ADDERALL AND OTHER HABIT FORMING MEDICATION THAT...
