My fave mountain. It is a 4.5 mile hike to the summit of the mountain with a 2000 foot elevation gain. So this hike is not for the faint of heart. It is very worth it. Take a photo in front of the summit sign, Stand atop of a 550 foot cliff and see views that reach out for mile. If this hike doesn't wear you out. On your way back you can catch the Ridge Trail that leads to the summit of Pinnacle Mtn. The tallest mountain that is entirely within the state of South Carolina.
