My fave mountain. It is a 4.5 mile hike to the summit of the mountain with a 2000 foot elevation gain. So this hike is not for the faint of heart. It is very worth it. Take a photo in front of the summit sign, Stand atop of a 550 foot cliff and see views that reach out for mile. If this hike doesn't wear you out. On your way back you can catch the Ridge Trail that leads to the summit of Pinnacle Mtn. The tallest mountain that is entirely within the state of South Carolina. You can then follow the Pinnacle Mtn trail whitch is also tue Foothills Trail back to the Nature Center where you started. Enjoy and have fun.

The Table Rock hike is a very strenuous 7.2-mile out-and-back hike with roughly 2000 feet of elevation gain, so it is not recommended for beginners or casual hikers. The view from the top is incredible, overlooking the Table Rock Reservoir and many nearby mountains. In addition, the park has a nice visitor center with parking and restrooms.

Beautiful hike! But be prepared to sweat, and for it to get chilly further up towards the top

Beautiful views (when there is no fog). Good hike up to the summit from the visitors center down in the park. Plan on an all day event if you are not in decent physical condition. Views from the "back side" near Governors Rock are...
