I came to this store with my daughter to find her homecoming dress, and our experience was quite disappointing from the moment we walked in. No one greeted us or acknowledged our presence, which immediately set an unwelcoming tone.
After browsing for a bit, my daughter found several dresses she wanted to try on. When we approached the fitting room, the associate there was in a deep conversation with someone and didnât acknowledge us at all. I waited for a moment, expecting at least a quick âIâll be right with you,â but that never happened. I simply needed to know how many items we were allowed to bring into the fitting room, yet I was completely ignored.
I ended up asking the cashier, who also seemed disinterested and unmotivated. She eventually answered my question, but the overall attitude from the staff felt indifferent and unprofessional.
Customer service should always start with something as simple as acknowledging customers when they enter the store. A friendly greeting or offer to help can make a huge difference, especially for families shopping for special occasions like homecoming. Unfortunately, the lack of attention and basic courtesy really affected our experience. I ordered online on the 23rd then got it on the 31st and it was too large for me so I went to the store to return it only 3 days after I received it. They refused to return and refund the money because it was ten days after I originally ordered it. They only offered store credit for dresses that were of extremely poor quality and refused to refund me a 70 dollar dress that I was under the impression I could return. Online it said free returns in store and didnât express a time limit to return to the store on its website . I got the dress 9 days after I ordered but I apparently only get 10 after I order to return it. Considering the store is a two hour drive from me itâs hard to figure out a time to go return it.    Read moreI really like this store, the clothes are super cute and cost effective. I have only ever had pleasurable experiences with the staff while I was there. I see a lot of people complaining about people reactions and/ or moods and I have to say it only shows how they are not acquainted with the customer service field and how the attitude changes depending on where you are at. Iâve worked customer service for well over 10 years and I have to say workers are people too so please be gentle when youâre judging them especially when itâs based on companyâs policy (they canât control that and can potentially lose their job if they donât enforce them) no matter how inconvenient it is for you I guarantee it is far more of an inconvenience to help an unpleasant customer who thinks the customer is always right no matter the cost to the employees.
