Save A Lot — Local services in Rockwood

I did not know this was independently-owned and not a part of Save-A-Lot corporate. I now understand why their prices are double of the prices advertised in the Save-A-Lot circular. I had no idea that Save-A-Lot offered franchises to outlets that could compromise their integrity and good name. There is a distinct odor when entering the store and if you can make it all the way to the back meat counter it seems to be perpetrating from that area. Besides the odor and the Cockroach I seen in the meat case I will not be returning! I sent a video of the roach on the meat to Save-A-Lot headquarters Since the manager was unavailable. They turn off the freezers to save money and then turn them back on. Unfortunately, certain frozen products thaw out, but they don't remove them. They still sell them. We also had a 4-5 day power outage and they didn't remove the products that went bad. I confronted the store manager and staff on a few occasions and they replied to bring back the bad products for a refund. I'm afraid of food poisoning not getting my money back. Examples of bad products they're selling: pizzas with brown pepperoni, frozen veggies that are rotten in the bag, and frozen meals completely iced over due to thawing and refreezing. Rudeness is what ya get get if ya shop there! I was pushing the cart through so my wife could get access to the card swipe. The cashier completely Jerry the cart from me. I responded with calm down.
