I wish I could give zero stars! We had a problem in this store yesterday, Sunday August 24th, 2025. I had my wife and 4 year old son with me. We went into the store to buy our son a small Pokémon toy, because he earned it by being good. As we looked in the store, we found a Charizard figure that was on the shelf next to other pokemon stuff, my son loves Charizard and it was the only one that we saw there, It had a price sticker on it, so we didn't think we'd get a problem trying to buy it. Walking up to the register with my son holding his favorite Pokémon, the store employee said "is that what you picked out, good choice!" Which got my son even more happier. But the problem started when she went to scan it and they responded with "we can't sell this to you", we asked why and they said it had a street date and was "not released yet" which didn't make sense at all because it was in the store, with a price, on a shelf.... seemed really weird. We all were upset, we asked them when the street date was, they said April of 2026. That made absolutely no sense so I then asked "why is it in the store then?!?". All they said is they don't know, "could be a system error", but they couldn't sell it to us. Now I'm upset, trying to explain to my son he couldn't get the toy he really wanted, he's starting to cry, my wife is asking for the manager, I think one of the other employees called the manager and he said the same thing, "can't sell it". I take my son outside to try to help him understand that its not his fault, my wife looked up the same product online and came to see that it actually came out in 2024, when she showed the employees of that fact, they still refused to sell the toy and said there was nothing they could do. This store just made a 4 year old boy cry and they had no remorse, the manager and employees of this place should be ashamed. This was the nail in the coffin so to speak for GameStop for me. I rarely stop going to places because of inconveniences but this made me not want to walk into another...
Read moreMy husband went to this location twice before closing hours and BOTH times they closed early. The hours on Google show that they close at 8pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, which are the days my husband went. He showed up on Monday at 6:30 and there was a sign on the door that said the associate was on break from 6:02-6:32pm. My husband waited 5 minutes longer than the posted time on the sign and no employee showed up. There were other people waiting along with him. He then decided to run an errand. He came back around 7pm, and then the gates were closed and there was a sign that said the store was closed. The next morning, he called the store to confirm their hours. The employee said they were open until 8pm. My husband showed up at 5:30pm and we just saw the associate CLOSING up the store 2 AND 1/2 HOURS EARLY before the listed closing time. First off, if you’re going to close early, then CHANGE YOUR HOURS ON GOOGLE!!! Second, my husband works a 9-5 job just like most people do. Why close early during the weekday when most people are at work? It only makes sense to close early on the weekend. Finally, the employee gave my husband FALSE information. Keep in mind, we were coming 30 minutes away because this store location had something my husband wanted that other nearby stores didn’t have. Very unprofessional and...
