GameStop — Local services in Santa Rosa

I went in to the gamestop in Coddington mall yesterday and bought a gta 5 and it was scratched and did not work at all ended up buying a digital copy for cheaper and today I went to this game stop and tried to return the one I originally bought to get my money back and they said they could do that then ten seconds later they said oh well we can only do an exchange like I just want my money back you guys sold me a game that was scratched and not working you shouldn't have sold it in the first place we hat kind of customer service is this place when i clearly told you guys I just want a refund on that game that you guys sold me and then tell I can get my money back and then lie about it I never should of been sold the game you guys should check your games before letting the customer buy the game when it clearly had scratches on it I will not be buying anymore games from you guys again that is bad...

Months back I bought an Xbox series X controller and had bought a warranty for a brand new controller stating that I would receive a brand new controller if anything would happen to my current one. Just recently I came in to get a new controller from the warranty I bought and they supplied me with a used, pretty much broken controller in return, when in past times I’ve gotten a brand new controller like the warranty explains. I’ve been going to GameStop for 20 years and I’m officially never going return to a GameStop ever in my lifetime again and will make sure that anyone I know will not return to a game stop ever again. Good selection of items but VERY rude employee. I brought a client whom is autistic there to look at the video games and she seemed very bothered that we were in the store. She was huffing and puffing and just overall unpleasant to be around.. My client accidentally touched an item that was out on display (mind you there was no sign or anything indicating that it shouldn’t be touched) and she snapped so rudely at him not to touch it.
