I've posted this review back in December on Yelp and decided to post it here too.
I pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront and kind of forgot the release date due to working nights. Well, I decided to stop by and behold they told me Gamestop is going for a personal experience and I should have been called. That's what they told me when I said I haven't received neither a text, or email. Yes my contact info is up to date. So I asked why didn't they call me..and he told me "We didn't want to because we didn't want to make 200+ phone calls. What do mean you don't...its your job...I pay for the Game informer to get these notifications and you "Didn't feel like it??"
So for the first time I actually did the customer survey on the receipt. I applaud the manager who called me(not the store manager..like district or something). He wanted to make up for my bad experience (he saw from the stores just how much business I gave Gamestop) without giving away the store. I flat out refused and told him thankyou for contacting me and explained since I and everyone else who is paying for game informer are paying for customer service and your sorry employees are too lazy to do their job. I also told him I would not be renew my subscription and I will be making what purchases I can digital downloads for my PS4.
I have finally said good bye to Gamestop...thanks to this lousy one at Dulles Mall. I'll just look for deals online for my older consoles.

Read moreBefore meeting Sean, I was in a unique situation that caused me to spend 8 hours of my time with other Gamestop locations and Corporate to resolve an issue I had.
To summarize briefly: I exchanged credit card rewards for egift cards, for a spur-of-the moment PS5 console purchase, at another location. It ended up getting cancelled and my egift card funds were put in a permanent state of limbo that no one else was able to resolve.
I arrived to Sean's store 15 minutes before closing time, and when given the choice of freedom, he instead opted to help me, after hours, with Corporate Customer Service, to finally rectify the issue.
He spared me further hours - on hold - with corporate Customer Customer service, and unneeded - dangerous - visits to more brick and mortar locations.
I owe him my life.

Read moreI just left out of GameStop at this location and when I tell you that was the best customer service that I have ever experienced from Ben and Jovi oh my goodness I am a first-time gamer. I had 1 million questions they helped me they were patient they they even helped me pick out the right games that will Help me in elevate me in my gaming experience.
