I had the most horrific experience at Contour today. I’ve been getting my lashes refilled here for a year now never had an issue until today. Charlene was 5 minutes late seeing me for my scheduled appointment. She did a quick job on my lash refill (30 minutes) and didn’t want to clean my lashes. She told me that her cleaning my lashes will mess up the retention and the glue will not stick (untrue). I’ve been getting my lashes done for 3.5 years now and I’ve NEVER had a lash tech tell me that. She didn’t want to show me my lashes in the mirror because she didn’t do a volume refill. She told me she didn’t have a fan initially to dry my lashes. She tried to charge me for a four week refill when I’ve always paid for three weeks. I made my appointment on the three week mark. Then she tried to tell me my last appointment wasn’t when it was. Then I kindly pulled up the text messages I get from Contour to show her she was lying. She then charged me for the correct amount. This lady was trying to scam me. Not okay. Very unprofessional. I won’t be coming back to Contour. Theresa and Tammy were the best lash techs I had the chance to encounter at Contour. Was recommended by a friend to come here for Eyebrow microblading/ombré. I came in for a consult, bringing pictures. Came back for first application and it was as if I hadn’t come in for a consult. Afterwards, I told him (again) that I preferred more angular shape, not round. He said he’d fix it at the second application. Before and after the 2nd application, I repeated myself. I didn’t come back for a third try because clearly, communication has failed. Very dissatisfied with my first time permanent eyebrow makeup.

Results: shape was not symmetrical, ink was not qualify- the black color turned red after only a few months and started fading pretty quickly. Owner said it depends on client blood type, but I had my lash line done several years earlier at another place and that last line is still dark & black.

I was a first timer and experienced some difficulties with having them installed due to my eyes being requested to stay open during tape setup. When I returned for the refill appointment the technician refused to service me due to safety and made me feel as if it was my fault. However, when I sought consultation at a competing location and received services there, I discovered that the technique being used at Contour just wasn’t effective for me as a client as I was able to successfully have volume lashes installed without any complications that day. Tape placement was actually done with my eyes being kept closed as opposed to them being open.
