Do not support your local GameStop. Shop somewhere else. This company needs to be shut down.
The entire system is built on lies and shady practices. District managers and HR protect each other no matter what, even when there's clear evidence of inappropriate behavior. I personally witnessed a situation where a district manager acted inappropriately with staff, and nothing happened. He was protected, even after numerous complaints.
Employees are routinely fired for false reasons when stores are about to close or downsize. They’ll claim someone was "stealing" with zero proof, just to cover their tracks. I know multiple former employees who were fired after robberies, even though they are trained to stand back for safety during situations like that. They are blamed anyway.
On top of all that, GameStop often charges more than standard retail prices just to boost profit margins. They are pressured to lie to customers; adding insurance plans and pro memberships without fully explaining or even getting proper consent. It’s dishonest, and it’s wrong.
Employees are left to work alone, even during high-risk shifts, and some stores have had break-ins involving guns. The safety of workers means nothing to upper management.

I asked her why because I said the price is Different on the box And she said she didn't get around to change the price the price increased I told her she couldn't honor the price that's on the box And she said no . So instead of her doing her job, she rather sit there in the corner and talk to the girl. That's eating her lunch.    Read moreThis employees are so inconsistent, you make a trade the day before and one employee gives you $115.00 cash for the trade, you go the next day and trade the exact same thing and the other employee finds 50 different things that are wrong with your trade, goes out of his way to inspect and make sure your trade value is on the floor and tells you hey I can only give you $30.00 for something I just received $115.00 the day before: then you leave and come back 10 minutes later and the same item you traded in is on display for sale $175.00 but they just offered you $30.00 for it. SMH do not trade anything to GameStop it’s a scam. Don’t buy anything from them either you are better of going to Best Buy and getting a free protection plan if you have a total tech membership.
