I won't be coming back to this location. I came in after work to get the last of us part 2 for my fiancé as a surprise. I know nothing about games but I knew this game was going to sell out quickly. I wasn't paying attention when I walked in, I grabbed the game (yes I know they keep the actual game behind the counter) and I missed where it said pre-order because I was a day early for the release. The website said it was in stock so I misunderstood and I take blame for that. What I don't appreciate it the condescending employee behind the counter who basically belittled me for not knowing about the preorder. I walked up with the game and the employee asks if I pre-ordered it to which I replied no. He then pointed at the big poster behind he counter and said what makes you think if they won't give me any extra posters that I would have extra games. I said i'm sorry I know nothing about games and Im getting it for my fiancé. He then went on to tell me how I can preorder or download the game on PS4. He embarrassed me in front of the customers and kept being a jerk till a customer jumped in and calmly explained what I could do. I left that store, sat in the parking lot, preordered on Target and picked the game up the next morning without a lip from anyone. This was an awful experience. That being said my primary complaint is that while I understand that GameStop pressures its employees to upsell the customer to get Pro Memberships, warranties, and preorders, these guys are relentless. I have had to continually decline the same question 2 or 3 times before they move on to the next question where I decline and they keep asking me if I'm sure I don't want X or Y. The only time I had to wait here was when I was doing a trade in for a console and it was taking forever to boot up, so I can't fault them on something that was my fault. This is legtimately one of a few gamestops I will willingly go into.
