This was my first visit to this store, and it will be my last. I wanted to buy a coffee table that was accessible online, but because it was also available at this location, I decided to go there and buy it. Because the table was not on display, I asked the lady behind the counter (the white lady with the black glasses) if she could assist me in locating the coffee table. According to her, the table is in the storage in a large box. I insisted on seeing the table, but she refused, saying it was in a box that couldn't be opened and that it wouldn't fit if I didn't have a huge car. (Note: I checked the specs before arriving to the store, and it will easily fit in my large automobile.) I also asked her if she could place an order for me, and she said she couldn't. I returned home with the intention of purchasing online, but it was not available, so I had to place an order to pick up at the store. When I returned, the store manager inquired why I didn't buy the table and then left. I was startled and told him about my interaction with his employee. He opened the box and showed me the table, which was tiny enough to fit in the trunk of my car. He also mentioned, the box was big because there were 2 tables in a big box. Because that one person, who was unkind enough to refuse to open the box for me, I wasted my entire day traveling 28 miles round trip. I saved my holiday shopping for the last minute due to the craziness of everything and Pauline was SO AMAZING AND HELPFUL!!!!!!! She assisted all customers shopping in the store and multitasked like crazy to be able to help everyone. I really appreciate going into a store and feeling relieved when someone like Pauline was able to be such help for me! I will absolutely be shopping at this location (especially since I have recently purchased a new home and will need plenty) and as long as Pauline is there I will absolutely go to Kirklands as my “go-to” spot for everything I’ll need :)...

Proceeded to call Customer Service to initiate a return/exchange and that is where the nightmare begins. Their Customer Service immediately responded and said my request would be forwarded to the returns department. It's been over a month, no reply.
