I am giving this place 3 stars out of previous experience with this store. However, it must be under new management as they try to rip you off for no reason. I went in to sell my iPhone 13 that was in pristine condition since I always keep my phones in cases, with tempered glass protection on them. The manager was trying to give me only $417 for it, as she stated her regional manager said they can no longer take phones as pristine, unless you open the box in front of them. I told her that is not what the online site says, and left. I went to a different Game Stop, and they gave me the online quoted price for pristine iPhone 13, which was $485. Now I would not have made a big deal if it was a few dollars, but $70 is a tank of gas and way too much to rip a customer off. I have had previous experiences with this store, and was never treated like this. I can only attribute this to a new manager who is trying to rip off their customers. I would take the short drive to one of the other stores in the area to be treated fair when...
Read moreTerrible -would give no stars if it was an option, make the drive to the south Burlington branch. Girl yesterday (3/24) was short and rude to my 8 year old who was excited for the day. He has saved since November for a game and was excited for the experience of buying it himself. She didnt even allow him to find the game himself after I specifically said he was going to look. We asked if there was a used copy anywhere and she said she 'didnt see it but I guess I can check'. We were told no one (s.burlinton or williston) had one. She then put the final needle in the coffin when he was looking to see what else he could buy and she laughed at him and said theres nothing for $2 here. Needless to say we left and purchased nothing. South Burlington store had a used copy, suggested another game my son might like and treated him like a person who was spending money. Bummer my sons favorite store became his least favorite in one interaction - we...
Read moreHORRIBLE!! we spent well over $400 in the store and they charged us twice for one game paddle. We called the store once we noticed and the employee said to just come back and they'd refund the money. My husband went back in today to collect our $25 refund and he was told that they couldn't do refunds and the employee who sold us the game system that we purchased had quit his job last night and was no longer employed there. They didn't even offer us the extra controller that we paid for. They did offer to give us free posters......Instead they gave us an 800 number to call (located in El Salvador) to get our refund from them. My husband is currently on the phone with someone in another country trying to get our refund. We have to wait 7-10 days for our refund!! Will never do business with Game Stop...
