Going to Ba Na Hills on our own, the ticket including buffet is 1,250,000 VND.
You should get a map before going up the mountain because it's extremely, extremely large at the top, and without a map, you won't be able to see all the areas and will just wander around in one place. There are 3 main areas. Area 1 is at the foot of the mountain, where the ticket office and the cable car entrance are located. From the entrance gate to the cable car access is quite far, requiring you to walk a considerable distance and climb many stairs. The architecture of this area is designed to resemble Hoi An and Hue. The elevator ride offers beautiful views of green hills and mountains. Area 2 is the lower mountaintop, and this area has 3 most prominent spots: the Golden Bridge, the flower gardens, and Linh Ung Pagoda. All these places are incredibly beautiful, the plants are very well cared for and lush green; just point your camera, and you'll get a beautiful picture. Especially the famous Golden Bridge, the symbol of Ba Na, you definitely have to take pictures here. There's also a wine cellar, but this area has an entrance fee. In Area 2, the most worthwhile place to visit is definitely the GOLDEN BRIDGE. Area 3 is the highest mountaintop; this is the largest area with the most attractions. It's like a large town up here. Restaurants, hotels, amusement parks, castles – everything is in this area. Typically, on the 3rd floor, you must see the pagoda peak. This place grows an extremely large number of very high-quality succulents, super large size, very healthy and beautiful. Right below the pagoda peak is the French Village. The French Village is ancient and beautiful, with a very distinctive stone wall surrounding it, you'll see it immediately. The stone walls are dotted with all kinds of flowers and leaves in countless colors. Taking photos in this area is guaranteed to be beautiful, just like a miniature Europe. The scenery is super romantic and magnificent. Next to the French Village is the restaurant and Sun Castle area (the one with Pop Mart). This area is the center of the center; all the artists' performances take place here. This area has huge castles, and the restaurants are close together, decorated with a lot of wood. The architecture of this area is similar to the French Village, but I think the French Village is more beautiful. Next to this area is the amusement park, which is probably the most boring and oldest area. The machines are old and worn out, it felt like wandering into a mechanical workshop on top of a mountain. The games and machines are a bit old, which I didn't like much. Next to the Moon Castle area is a place built similarly to the Louvre Museum in France, with a glass pyramid top. This area is also beautiful and unique. Important note: If you buy a buffet ticket, you will usually be assigned to eat at the Four Seasons Restaurant, which is located on the 3rd-4th basement levels in this area. It's very difficult to find; we wandered around for a long time before getting there, so you need to pay close attention. Next to this area is the last area, the Moon Castle. This area is incredibly beautiful, stunningly beautiful, with gardens and waterfalls stretching to form the entrance to the palace, it's breathtaking. However, the inside of the palace hasn't been fully developed and is still quite empty. You definitely have to go into the palace to watch the Eye of the Wind cinema, a novel and cute 5D movie experience, very worthwhile to spend time watching. In summary, in Area 3, I think the French Village and the Moon Castle are the two most worthwhile places to visit. The cable car operates continuously from morning until 5 pm. After 5 pm, there is only one cable car trip every hour, and after 5 pm, only one cable car line operates, so pay close attention to the signs and ask the staff to avoid missing the cable car. In my opinion, you should visit Ba Na once just to know about it because everything up there is built and artificial. Going once to visit and...

We visited Ba Na Hills early morning (arrived around 8:00 am), and overall it was a very nice experience, especially if you plan your time well.
• Getting there: We took a bus, which was cheap and convenient. We left the hotel at 6:30 am and arrived around 8:00 am. At that time, there were not many people, and everything was smooth.
• Tickets & WOW Pass: We bought the cable car ticket with buffet. Honestly, WOW Pass was not necessary for us because we came early. Lines were short, and everything was easy. From my experience, WOW Pass depends on what time you arrive — it gets crowded after 11:00 am.
• Golden Bridge: As soon as we arrived, we went directly to the Golden Bridge. We filmed and took photos easily without crowds. This is the best time to visit it.
• Weather: We checked the weather early morning — it was sunny with some clouds, perfect for photos. From around 10:00 am, fog started to come in and it became cloudy for the rest of the day. ⚠️ Tip: Bring a jacket, raincoat, and umbrella, just in case.
• Activities & Areas: After the Golden Bridge, we took a short cable car ride to the activity / village area. It’s a nice place to walk around and film, but activities are limited. We tried: – Pop Mart: Nice store with good prices, but it’s much smaller compared to Pop Mart at ICONSIAM Bangkok. – Alpine Coaster: Fun and fast, but the ride is not very long. Castle train: we noticed the people were less on the Lunar Castle (moon castle) we took a short train ride was expecting it to go around the whole hills it was short ride took us to the other castle it was crowded. – Beer Plaza: Nice place with friendly staff. There was a good performance, and it’s worth visiting. There’s an after-glow show, but you should ask staff about exact timing (we missed it because we were exploring).
• Food (Buffet): The buffet is big, but very crowded and messy. Food was acceptable, but not great.(optional choice) If I visit again, I would skip the buffet and eat at one of the restaurants instead — fewer options, but likely a better experience.
• Leaving: We left around 4:00 pm. The waiting time for the cable car was only about 10 minutes, which again shows that WOW Pass wasn’t needed for our timing.
Conclusion: Ba Na Hills is a nice experience if you come early. From 8:00–10:30 am, we managed to do the most important things before the fog and crowds arrived. WOW Pass really depends on the time and day you visit. Overall, well planned timing makes a big difference. (For the tickets we got it from the ticket counter the staff were nice)
Note: after finishing from up when you are going down to leave just explore the place down it was nice and the buses comes every 20-30min. Remember which company bus you came with so you can know to which you ride or just take a cab ride to there use grab or bolt it is easier and good price.(Google map time is not always accurate it was around 30-45min not bad) and 15-20mi cable ride was good we didn’t notice the time we were...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at Sun World (Da Nang), and honestly, the staff service was unacceptably bad.
I bought my ticket in advance through Klook and presented the voucher at the entrance. However, I was told that the voucher “could not be used” / was “invalid,” and I was stopped by a staff member named NAM. I understand that technical issues can happen—such as scanning errors or system problems. The real problem was what happened next: the staff showed no willingness to verify anything or help resolve the situation.
I calmly asked multiple times for them to check my Klook purchase record, or at least confirm with Klook. I explained that the ticket was already paid for and that it should be possible to verify the order details. But the only response I received was “I can’t” / “not possible,” repeated over and over. There was no attempt to check my purchase history, no effort to contact Klook, and no alternative solution offered. I was not given a clear explanation of what I should do to fix the issue, nor was I guided to any proper support process.
What made it even worse was that when I asked to speak with a supervisor or someone in charge, the situation still did not move forward. In situations like this, I would normally expect basic steps such as: “Please show your order confirmation,” “What is your Klook order number?”, “Let us check this for you,” or “Please wait while we verify.” Instead, there was almost zero verification. It felt like the decision was made from the beginning: “No,” without even trying to confirm the facts. Being treated this way as a paying customer was shocking.
As a result, we could not enter at all, and our entire day was completely wasted. In a trip with limited time, this was extremely frustrating. If a voucher truly cannot be used, the minimum expected response would be to investigate the cause, provide clear instructions on what to do next, escalate to a supervisor, or at least explain the correct refund / support process. None of that happened—we were simply stopped at the entrance and left with no solution.
Again, I understand that problems can occur. But the way this was handled—refusing to verify a paid purchase, refusing to check records, refusing to contact the ticket provider, and offering no guidance—is not acceptable customer service. I strongly urge Sun World to improve on-site procedures for Klook tickets (order verification, purchase record checks, contacting Klook when needed, and escalation to a supervisor) and to provide proper staff training so other visitors do not experience the...
