$429 a night to stay here? (1)π
ποΈThe Westin Hotel in New York Times Square β Please Avoid This Pitfall! $429 a night for this? It feels like a domestic budget hotel standard. The facilities are old, the room is tiny, and the cleanliness is just so-so. There aren't even any toiletries in the room (you have to ask the front desk for a toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers). π ποΈ As soon as I walked in, I got this uneasy feeling that the pillows were a bit yellowish. π§ββοΈ Under the soap dispenser at the sink, there was this sticky, gooey mess. It was absolutely disgusting. π€’ ποΈWhen I lifted the toilet seat, a dry contact lens just popped out. It was so shocking! π± The faucets are either freezing cold or scalding hot. There's no in-between. πΏ For the first time, I saw a hotel cup with a liner underneath. There's a thick blanket, a liner, a sheet, and then another sheet on the bed. It's really confusing. π ποΈ To top it all off, my friend complained: A $400+ hotel that looks like a roadside motel. #NewYork ποΈ
