Featuring the Medieval Festival Jornadas Medievales 🚌 After a long break from exploring the outskirts, I took advantage of the summer youth transport discount to unlock different towns. Upon arriving in Ávila, I found out that it was hosting the Medieval Festival (quite lucky, I'd say). The entire town was like a carnival, with numerous stalls and people of all ages dressed in medieval attire, joining in the grand festivities, which was incredibly lively 😍 Regarding local cuisine: Apart from steak, the yema custard dessert is also quite famous. (In a whisper, I personally think it's incredibly sweet; those with a sweet tooth 🐜 might want to give it a try.
