Falling in Love with Whitsunday Island 🩵
Looking back at my photos, I’m still mesmerized by the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands. Last year, right after my USYD graduation, my friends and I finally visited the dreamy Whitsundays. It was absolutely worth it—nature’s beauty left us speechless! ✈️ Itinerary (Airlie Beach Edition) We chose Airlie Beach over Hamilton Island for our stay. 1️⃣ Getting There: Sydney → Proserpine (PPP) Airport Only Jetstar offers direct flights (once daily)—book luggage allowance in advance! Shuttle buses at the airport (affordable & comfy) take you straight to hotels. 2️⃣ Must-Do Activities Scenic Helicopter Ride & Skydiving (booked via Taobao for a steal!). Pro tip: Weather-dependent—we lucked out with clear skies after rain! Sunset Sailing ⛵️ (Highly recommended! Details in the next post.) 🏨 Hotel Pick: Mirage Whitsundays Why? Shuttle drops you at the door + stunning ocean & yacht views from rooms. Serene vibe, great service—perfect for unwinding. 🥂 Food Recs 1️⃣ LA TABELLA ITALIAN A random street find that delivered big time!
