Onstage, the band plays with effortless cool, while in the crowd, enthusiastic aunties dance with unbridled joy—their "square dance hour" bursting with infectious energy. Our little one, Da Bao, sways along without a care, completely lost in the music. This is Jersey’s most perfect summer ritual: no tickets, no chaos, just melodies, the wind, and an unshakable sense of freedom.✨ Honestly, I don’t always understand the music—sometimes the crowd erupts in cheers at moments that leave me puzzled. But ever since we started bringing Da Bao last year, he’s fallen head over heels for these concerts. Now, he always rushes to the front, bouncing to the beat, fearlessly copying the dance moves of the aunties around him. It reminded me of something I once heard: "The best way to introduce a child to music isn’t through sheet music—it’s through their ears, their body, and their heart."
