Every summer I search for that perfect spot combining beaches, ferris wheels, waterslides, and vintage carousels—and this year I found it: ​​Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Parks!​​ 📍 ​​Location:​​ Wildwood, New Jersey Just over an hour south of Atlantic City, about 2.5 hours from NYC by car. You can also take NJ Transit + Uber for a day trip or weekend getaway. 🕐 ​​Hours:​​ Peak season runs from late May to early September, with rides open from noon to 11pm. Avoid weekends if possible—we went on a weekday afternoon and barely waited in line! 🎢 ​​How to Play?​​ This park is actually three parks in one: • 🎠 ​​Mariner's Pier​​ (family-friendly, classic carousel) • 🎡 ​​Adventure Pier​​ (thrill rides for adrenaline junkies) • 💦 ​​Raging Waters​​ (epic waterslides) Buy a ​​combo pass​​ for the best value—or single-area wristbands if you're short on time. 📸 ​​Photo Tips:​​ • Use a ​​polarizing filter​​ for vibrant colors—best light is 2-4pm! • For the ferris wheel: Shoot from afar with a telephoto lens ​​or​​ pose under Mariner's Pier for a backlit silhouette. • Capture waterslide action with a ​​fast shutter speed​​! 👟 ​​What to Wear:​​ Bright colors + quick-dry fabrics!
