๐งโโ๏ธ Bran Castle โ The Vampire Castle ๐ท๐ด
๐ Bran Castle is located on the western outskirts of the ancient city of Braศov in central Romania. This castle is more commonly known as Dracula's Castle because it served as the setting for the famous 19th-century novel "Dracula" by Irish author Bram Stoker. The protagonist of the story is the vampire Count Dracula. The novel has been adapted for the screen many times, with "Dracula" (also known as "Bram Stoker's Dracula") being one of the more faithful adaptations.people have come to define this castle as the Vampire Castle. ๐ฐ๏ธ Opening Hours: Tuesday-Sunday ๐-๐; Monday ๐-๐ ๐ How to Get There: After arriving by plane โ๏ธ at Bucharest, you can: Rent a car to get there (A3 highway + mountain road, approximately a 3-hour drive), there is a parking lot near the castle with a parking fee of 10 lei. Go to Bucharest city center and take a train to Braศov (which takes longer), then take a car to Bran Castle. ๐๏ธ Ticket Prices: The castle ticket is 60 lei (it seems to have been increasing recently), and you can additionally purchase tickets for the medieval torture exhibition + time tunnel (a short 10-meter elevator ride that saves you from climbing up and down the castle, both together cost about forty to fifty lei). Personally, I recommend just buying the main entrance ticket, as the additional purchases may leave you feeling cheated. #NatureScenery #CulturalAttractions #SoloTravel
