【Foodie】The Clocktower(1)
Nestled in the bell tower to the east of Madison Square Park, the restaurant's name perfectly matches its building's appearance. 🍃🌸 You can easily guess it's the right place. After entering, you ascend via a spiral staircase to the dining area, which boasts a charmingly British castle-like decor, creating a delightful ambiance. 🏰 It's said to be the only British restaurant in New York that made it onto the Michelin list. 🍃🌸 Among Michelin one-star restaurants, it offers reasonably priced and delicious dishes. Indeed, everything I ordered today was a hit, no misses at all: Scotch eggs: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🍃🌸These are quail eggs wrapped in meat and then deep-fried. They have a bit of a street sausage vibe. Served with toasted bread and barbecue sauce, they're tasty but perhaps not worth having here, considering the setting. 😄 Mushroom Veloute: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This mushroom soup is incredibly rich and aromatic. You can really taste the mushrooms. Paired with bread, it's heavenly. I absolutely love the thick and velvety texture. Highly recommended!👍 #NewYork 🌃
