ใ€Ground Zeroใ€‘ Go Out and See(1)

At the original site of the Twin Towers in New York, there are two huge square pits in the plaza. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ They were built as monuments to commemorate those who perished in the "9/11" tragedy, also known as the Ground Zero monuments. ๐ŸŒŸIn May in New York, the weather is still like the end of winter and the beginning of spring, with intermittent sunshine and clouds, and the temperature can sometimes drop below 10 degrees. The branches in front of the door have just sprouted tender buds, and the tree trunks are covered with green moss. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ Purely by chance, I visited the monument plaza twice. ๐ŸŒŸ The first time was on a sunny day, with crowds of tourists bustling about, vying to take commemorative photos. The monuments were adorned with numerous small flags and white roses, and the sound of water flowing in the pits could be heard intermittently. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ The second time was on a cloudy day with a drizzle of cold rain falling on my head, face, and nose, bringing a sense of calm. ๐ŸŒŸI silently gazed at the silent pits, where a single white rose bloomed quietly on the black marble. The water curtain in the pits roared loudly, with water cascading down in layers and finally converging into a tiny square hole before vanishing. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ Profound and solemn, it was soul-stirring. #NewYork ๐ŸŒ‡๐ŸŒŸ
