【Luxury Wilderness Giant andBeyond】Asia's First • Punakha, Bhutan ☘ andBeyond Punakha River Lodge officially opened its doors in September 2023, marking &Beyond's first luxury hotel in Asia. ☘ Nestled along the banks of the Mo Chu River in Bhutan's Punakha Valley, the lodge adopts traditional Bhutanese architectural styles, seamlessly blending with the surrounding terrain and scenery at an altitude of approximately 1,400 meters. ☘ The property features six tented suites (approximately 89 square meters), a one-bedroom suite with a small pool (River House, around 150 square meters), and a two-bedroom suite (Family Suite, roughly 310 square meters), all surrounded by lush rice paddies and dense forested hills. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi and complimentary laundry services. The lodge also includes a spa and yoga studio, an infinity pool with views, a handicraft shop, and an interactive kitchen. ☘ The lodge serves traditional Bhutanese cuisine infused with Indian and Tibetan flavors. The interactive kitchen offers cooking classes, and dining can be arranged at various unique locations. Boasting a prime location with Himalayan mountain views and direct access to the Mo Chu River, &Beyond's debut in Bhutan is a showcase of luxury and refinement. It offers a wide range of experiences: a 45-minute walk from the lodge leads to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten; the spa provides various massage treatments, yoga, or hot stone baths for relaxation. ☘ The lodge offers activities such as traditional cooking classes, dining at unique venues, walks in nearby villages, yoga and meditation sessions, Mo Chu River rafting, kayaking tours, spa treatments, and hot stone baths. Additional activities include birdwatching in the surrounding areas, visits to Punakha Dzong, crossings of Punakha's suspension bridges, blessing ceremonies, mountain biking, trips to nearby Chimi Lhakhang and nunneries, and hikes to Dochula Pass, as well as archery. ☘ The surrounding Punakha Valley is renowned for its rice and chili farms.
