【Mikiya Wagyu House】Japanese A5 Wagyu AYCE is Now in Irvine!

Heard a new Japanese Wagyu hot pot AYCE spot opened in Irvine — right in the Westpark H Mart plaza. My first meal back in Irvine went straight to Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House! The interior is sleek and modern — cozy Japanese vibe right when you walk in. We went for the top-tier AYCE, and the meat quality really stood out: fine marbling, clean cuts, fresh seafood, plump and delicious. Every plate showed careful selection — even the sushi and sashimi were satisfying! 🫕 Broth choices: We picked Sukiyaki and Spicy Miso. The sukiyaki broth is sweet and aromatic — really brings out the Wagyu’s flavor. The spicy miso has a nice kick and savory depth — great with everything! 🥩 After several rounds, we tried almost the whole menu. Their Japanese A5 Wagyu series and Australian Full Blood M9 Wagyu are both fantastic: A5 Wagyu Chuck Ribeye — delicate marbling, best cooked medium-rare, amazing texture. A5 Wagyu Brisket — higher fat ratio, rich and layered in the mouth. Australian M9 Wagyu — clear marbling, tender and juicy right after a quick dip. 🦀 Seafood highlights: Grouper Fillet — neat texture, medium thickness, springy and naturally sweet after a light cook. We ordered multiple rounds! Snow Crab Legs — fresh, sweet meat that pairs surprisingly well with the Japanese broths — the soup really enhances the crab’s sweetness. 🍣 Sushi & Sashimi: Sweet Shrimp Sashimi — fresh, subtly sweet, tender — went perfectly with yuzu sauce. Ordered four servings, no regrets! Wagyu Tartare — Wagyu + avocado, smooth and balanced, very easy to eat. Grilled Wagyu Bone Marrow — rich and buttery, spread on bread — so satisfying. 🥬🥤 The DIY hot pot veggie/fruit bar is well-stocked, and the drink selection includes boba milk tea, fruit tea, soda, and ice cream — total satisfaction! Overall, getting high-quality Wagyu hot pot + sushi/sashimi in one place really elevates the experience. Perfect for hanging out with family or friends! #LAEats #IrvineLife #IrvineFinds #Irvine #WagyuSukiyaki #Mikiya #MikiyaWagyu #Wagyu #Sashimi
