โค๏ธ๐งโ๐คโ๐ง Tokyo Grand Shrine ๐๏ธ
I arrived at Iidabashi Station for the Conan โKyogoku Reon, and by chance, I saw a sign for Tokyo Grand Shrine. ๐๐ธ I quickly searched it up and decided to walk there using Google Maps. As I entered the shrine, the continuous sound of wind chimes filled my ears. Most people here were seeking good fortune in love. I placed my "wish for a connection" into the offering box and made a wish. ๐๐ธ To my surprise, I saw a quote from Li Bai, "Heaven has endowed me with talents for some use." It seemed to be this month's life-affirming message at Japanese shrines (I saw it at other shrines later too). When I was about to buy a charm, I noticed many people carrying goshuincho (red seal books). ๐๐ธ I asked a Japanese lady how to get one and about the process of getting seals. She showed me her goshuincho... (Basically, you spend 1500 yen on the book, and it's an additional 500 yen each time you get a seal. I got one at every shrine or temple I visited after that. ๐๐ธThere are also limited-edition versions that span two pages, which are usually more expensive). #TokyoGrandShrine ๐๏ธ #Shrine ๐ฟ #Tokyo ๐
