Tiffany Falls Conservation Area🍁 📍 900 Wilson Street East, Ancaster, ON 🎫 Cost: FREE! No reservations needed. 🅿️ Parking: Pay at the machine: $11/hour (1-hour max). Tiny lot at the entrance. Overflow parking: 📍720 Artaban Road.❄️ Toronto’s winter paradise—Tiffany Falls! Famous for its icy waterfalls. 🌨️❄️ Dreamed of visiting, but worried about toddlers on icy trails. Feb 26 (-4°C), fresh snow… decided to go! Dad and daughter led the way, me snapping pics. Trail looked snowy… until we stepped on hidden ice! Daughter slipped, then dad! 😱 Super slippery—right next to the river!😂💦 🍁 Thankfully, four Canadians rushed to help! Pulled me up the snowy slope, then my daughter, then dad. ❤️ So grateful! ‼️ Tip: Near-freezing temps = icy paths! Get crampons (ice cleats) for shoes! 15-min walk from parking to falls (without kids). Sent dad to scout—he said the second half was worse! Turned back with daughter.🌨️❄️ From his photos: The river below was cracking! Too risky to cross.🍁 …Promised daughter a waterfall—gave her a man-made one at Ancaster Mill (3-min drive).
