🌤️ A Rare Beautiful Day in Seattle
After what felt like weeks of rain, Seattle finally gifted us a crystal-clear day — and we made sure to make every ray of sunlight count! 🌤️✨ 📍 First Stop: Kite Park – Where Rainier Feels Within Reach If you’re chasing that perfect Mount Rainier shot, this is the place. The mountain looked so sharp and close, it almost didn’t feel real… like a painted backdrop or a scene straight out of the “sunlit golden peaks” you’d find in Western Sichuan. 🏔️💛 The air was crisp, the sky was pure blue, and for a moment, it was easy to forget we were just a short drive from the city. Absolutely unreal! 📍 Second Stop: Van Lierop Park – Mountain Views & That Famous Swing A quick 20-minute drive brought us to another gorgeous Rainier viewpoint. Yes, we came for the mountain — but also for that swing! 🪑🌄 The iconic internet-famous swing sits at the far end of the park (away from the parking lot, facing opposite the mountain). We arrived a little late, and a soft haze had begun to roll in, softening the light and wrapping everything in a dreamy, muted glow. Even with the haze, the mood was quiet, peaceful… and totally Instagram-worthy. 📲✨ Sometimes you chase a view, and sometimes the view finds you — even through the mist. Seattle on a clear day is a gentle reminder: the best moments often come after the rain. 🌧️➡️🌈 #Rainier #MountRainier #VanLieropPark #KitePark #SeattleDays #PNWlife #WashingtonState #MountainChaser #SwingSpot #Viewpoint #NatureVibes #ClearSkyMagic
