🌤️ An afternoon in San Jose, and... WOW!

The lake here is incredibly pink—it looks absolutely STUNNING when the sun is blazing bright! ☀️ That also means… it gets HOT. Like, really sunny 😅 Probably why there was almost no one else around, haha! I chatted with a park staff member passing by, and they said the best time to see the lake at its deepest pink is summer. But honestly? I think the soft pink hue right now is just as gorgeous. 💕✨ 📍 This is Alviso Marina County Park! Parking is easy, and it’s only a 1-2 minute walk to the lake. A friend who’s lived in the Bay Area for 8+ years had NEVER even heard of this spot… that’s how low-key it is! Seriously underrated 😮‍💨 but absolutely BREATHTAKING. 👒 If you go: Sunscreen, hat, LOTS of water—it’s super sunny with barely any shade. But seeing that pink water against the bright blue sky… totally worth it. Feels like stepping into a dream 🌌 right here in the Bay.
