✈️ Cape Town Round 2! A Winter Foodie Adventure 🍽️❄️
Just touched down in Cape Town again, and this winter escape is serving up next-level food & views! Here’s my delicious diary so far: 🥩 MEAT HEAVEN 1️⃣ The Hussar Grill (SA’s legendary steakhouse): Beef carpaccio: Paper-thin, zero gaminess 🥩✨ Long black mushroom: Crispy outside, juicy explosion inside 🍄💦 Bone marrow: Rich AF 👌 (Note: My "well medium" steak was still a tad too rare for me!) 2️⃣ Bo-Vine Wine Grill House: Theater-level service: Waiter brought a meat display tray to explain cuts! 🎭🔪 Fillet: Perfect sear, tender (but not too juicy) Wagyu: Buttery without the grease coma 🥩💛 Wine pairing: Both spots recommended Pinotage (hello, smoky notes!) 🍷🔥 🌊 COASTAL CHILL 3️⃣ The Lighthouse @ Simon’s Town: Pit stop en route to Cape of Good Hope! Missed the famous seaside train 😢, but loved: Vibes: Ocean breezes, vintage cars rolling by, seagulls swooping—peak small-town zen 🚗💨 4️⃣ The Vineyard Hotel: River walks inside the hotel grounds? Yes please! Mussels + Yuzu rice: Fresh, clean, umami bomb 🍋🦪 ✈️ BONUS: Qatar Airways MVP SA beef stew in economy class? UNEXPECTEDLY GOURMET. 🤯 📸 Currently at 10,058m, posting this via in-flight WiFi! #SkyHighFoodie#SouthAfrica #CapeTown #QatarAirways #SteakLover #TravelEats
