🏔️ Denver 5-Day, 4-Night Itinerary 🚌 No Car Needed (Part 1)
April in Denver still feels like winter — and that’s a good thing! Extended ski season means more mountain fun ⛷️ 1️⃣ Day 1 Arrived in Denver around midnight — even late at night, it was easy to grab a ride from the airport. We stayed near Union Station, which made getting around super convenient. 2️⃣ Day 2 🥣 Brunch at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery A classic American brunch spot inside Union Station. OMG French Toast – a bit sweet for my taste Crab Cake Benedicts – tasty but a tad salty Pineapple Upside Down Pancake 🥞 – the winner! Not too sweet, moist, and flavorful ☑️ Reservations recommended — we still waited 15 mins due to the crowd. 🚶♀️ 2-min walk 📍 Union Station A historic landmark and popular meet-up spot — highly recommend staying nearby for easy transit access. 🚗 19-min drive We booked a guided tour online ($95 per person, 5 hours) covering: Red Rocks Amphitheatre 🎵 – a must-see natural venue Echo Lake – completely frozen, acting like a giant mirror ❄️ Evergreen Town – cute artisan shops (a bit pricey but charming) 🥣 Dinner at Rioja Located on a pedestrian-friendly street in Denver — make a reservation! Loved the variety of breads, especially the lavender sourdough. The venison was tender and delicious. They even brought out a mini dessert cone for my friend’s birthday! 🍦 🚗 5-min drive 📍 REI Flagship Store A massive outdoor gear paradise — scored an Arc’teryx ski jacket just in time for our impromptu ski day! Also grabbed North Face ski pants. A must-visit for outdoor lovers 🎿 #StudyAbroadLife #TravelingStudent #USATravel #DenverGuide #NoCarNeeded
