There are many great restaurants in the Denver-Boulder area, but Flagstaff House is truly one of a kind! A colleague called it his β#1 in the U.S.β β and while it may not top my personal flavor rankings, the overall experience, setting, and food make it an unforgettable choice for dates, family gatherings, or even weddings. π π Flagstaff House β 1138 Flagstaff Rd, Boulder, CO 80302 ποΈ Location & Ambiance We visited after a heavy snowfall β the city was blanketed in white βοΈ. Perched on the mountainside, the drive up alone was breathtaking. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of Boulder. Built in 1929 as a summer house, the restaurant shines just as brightly in winter. π· The Food A 4-course menu (priced around $100+ per person) β with complimentary extras β left us fully satisfied. The flavors lean American with rich seasoning (perfect if you prefer bolder tastes). Ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and each dish is beautifully presented. Great value for the experience! π§ Service Impeccable and smooth from start to finish. They responded quickly to emails even during off-hours.
