HIGHLIGHT ‼️: The unstoppable Chinese woman conquered the dunes! 💪 1️⃣ Mackinaw City:Evening stroll with live music 🎵Spotted a Bumblebee statue and a low-key Game of Thrones Iron Throne 😂 First time seeing a weed-themed fridge magnet 🌿🧲2️⃣ Fisherman’s Island State Park Passed by a nice swim-friendly beach 🏖️ First entrance leads to campsites ⛺ Water gets smelly further in 🤢3️⃣ Guntzviller‘s Spirit of the Woods Museum:Small taxidermy museum 🦌🐻Free entry (donations accepted) Sold animal specimens and fur products 🧢Bought a fun hat!4️⃣ Historic FishtownTiny fishing village 🎣The famous photo spot is private (no trespassing signs!) 🚫 5️⃣ Sleeping Bear Dunes Overlook:$25/vehicle (7-day pass) 🚗One-way scenic drive 🛣️12 stops (mostly educational signs—kinda boring 😴)BUT THE DUNES THO! 🏜️Sand whipped my face, avg heart rate 168 while climbing 💔Lying halfway up, watching the sun glitter on the lake = pure bliss 😌Had the whole view to myself LOL 😆Only 4 guys attempted it—most didn’t go all the wayDescend: <10 mins ⬇️Ascend: ~40 mins (with breaks) ⬆️Feels like a HIIT class—if you can do 30 mins of Pamela, you can do this! 💃 #AnnArbor #Michigan #NorthernMI #TravelDiary #Umich #NewBeginnings #QuitJob #ExploreMore #SleepingBearDunes
