This was my first time trying Rich Table โ a San Francisco staple with over 13 years of culinary excellence. Why did I wait so long? It was an absolutely delicious, creative, and wonderfully unconventional dining experience! ๐ฉโ๐ณ Led by Visionary Chefs The restaurant is passionately run by chefs Evan and Sarah Rich (yes, the name fits perfectly!). Their menu is a vibrant fusion of global inspirations โ bold, original, and always surprising. Be sure to book ahead โ this place is popular, and even bar seats require reservations! โญ The โLet Us Choose Your Adventureโ Tasting Menu For the fullest experience, I highly recommend their tasting menu โ priced at just $125 (with optional wine pairings). It includes a range of "Market Bites" and "Classics," one pasta, one main, and dessert. Some flavors you wonโt even find on the regular menu! If youโre dining as a pair, they thoughtfully vary the pasta and main dishes so you can try more. Vegetarian? No problem โ they gladly accommodate. ๐ด My Standout Dishes Included: Caviar maple whipped cream egg Black truffle whipped cream peach Tuna tostada with corn salsa and serrano pepper Sardine chips with horseradish cream Porcini donuts with fromage blanc (a signature bite!) Chili crisp beef tartare with cucumber and pea-dusted crackers Uni tonnarelli with cheese and pepper Peach & cilantro hanger steak (usually ribeye on the regular menu) Chocolate layer cake with cream-like ice cream and honeycomb crunch ๐ซ A New Regular Stop Along with my longtime favorite, Gary Danko, Rich Table has earned a permanent spot on my San Francisco dining rotation.
