Last summer, I went to Ginzan Onsen β¨οΈ, located in Yamagata Prefecture, a three-hour Shinkansen ride from Tokyo. ππΏ This ancient hot spring village sits at the foot of green mountains. πThe entire street, no more than a hundred meters long, has a history of over 400 years. Traditional Japanese ryokans line the street, with their three-story wooden structures exuding romantic Taisho-era charm. ππΏ Every evening, the entire hot spring street lights up with warm, flickering yellow lights, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. πWalking through the street, the summer breeze whispers in your ear, and the hazy lanterns cast a magical glow.
