Living in LIC but falling more in love with BK ā especially when the G train leads to spots like Shan Chuan, a Sichuan treasure where every dish had us nodding in delight. šŗ Beer-Braised Duck (Pi Jiu Ya) ā Tender, meaty duck simmered until fall-apart soft in a rich, spicy broth with edamame and scallions. Deeply savory and perfect over rice. š Fresh Pepper Whole Fish A whole fish, steamed to silky tenderness with green pepper rings and a light soy-chili sauce. Mildly spicy, incredibly fresh ā even the collagen-rich skin was irresistible. š· Preserved Vegetable Braised Pork Belly Large, crispy-skinned pork slices layered with fermented mustard greens.
