Dinner at Hav & Mar in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood was nothing short of spectacular! Owned by the celebrated Chef Marcus Samuelsson, this restaurant beautifully blends Ethiopian and Swedish flavors into an unforgettable culinary journey. 🇪🇹🇸🇪 Our meal was an absolute 10/10 from start to finish! Here’s a taste of what we enjoyed: We started by sharing: Sea Urchin Mousse on Brioche Toast 🍞🌊 – Rich, creamy, and elegantly presented. Artichoke & Brussels Sprouts 🥬🍋 – Fresh, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned. For our main course, we dove into the Addis York: Doro Wot – A traditional Ethiopian chicken stew, deeply spiced and aromatic. Injera – Soft, spongy flatbread made from ancient grain teff, perfect for scooping. Ayib – A mild Ethiopian cheese adding a lovely creamy touch. Crispy Fried Chicken 🍗 – Juicy inside, crunchy outside. Soft-Boiled Egg 🥚 – Adding richness and texture to the dish. Dessert was the stunning Mar and Bunna Pudding: Yogurt Cream – Light and tangy. Coffee Cake ☕🍰 – Moist and flavorful. Honey Brittle 🍯 – Adding the perfect sweet crunch. Every element was masterfully crafted, full of soul and creativity.
