πŸ›οΈ Joslyn Art Museum - Omaha

Located just a short drive from downtown Omaha, the Joslyn Art Museum beautifully blends old and new. The new wing, which opened just six months ago, is flooded with natural light and feels reminiscent of the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. β˜€οΈπŸ›οΈ The historic building features a stunning courtyard inspired by Italian Renaissance and Neoclassical architecture – perfect for photos! πŸ“Έβœ¨ I did a quick one-hour visit and focused on the Ancient Greek, Roman, European, and Native American art sections. Sadly, I didn’t have time to explore the new contemporary American art or the railway exhibit πŸš‚πŸ–ΌοΈ. The collection includes both lesser-known artists and works by famous names like Titian, Rembrandt, Monet, Renoir, and Degas! πŸŽ¨πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ¨ Best part? The museum is free every day (except Mondays when it’s closed)! Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through Omaha. πŸ“ 2200 Dodge St, Omaha, NE 68102 #JoslynArtMuseum #Omaha #ArtLovers #FreeMuseum #TravelNebraska #CulturalSpot
