π½οΈ Nashville Restaurant Review | 5th & Taylor
Taste: πππππ Service: πππππ Ambiance: πππππ TL;DR: Highly, highly recommend! Finally tried this long-awaited spot with friends yesterday β and it did not disappoint! A perfect start to spring break πΈ We ordered three dishes and two cocktails β all were excellent π€ Beef Tartare: No gamey taste, not over-marinated. The mustard was subtle and smooth. As a tartare lover, I was excited from the moment I saw it on the menu β and it delivered! Special Starter: Roasted Pork Belly Caramelized onions and peppers β crispy skin, not greasy, and no typical βpork smellβ you often find in American restaurants. It even reminded me of Chinese flavors! π·β¨ As someone who usually hates green peppers, these were cooked perfectly β tender but not mushy, sweet and delicious with the onions. Main: Braised Beef Cheek So tender it practically melted in the mouth π Well-seasoned but not overpowering. Side note: The mashed potatoes were incredible β we couldnβt stop eating them even after finishing the beef! Cocktails πΉ Well-balanced β not too sweet, not too strong. Maybe not mind-blowing, but very solid. The restaurant is located in a quiet corner of Germantown ποΈ. The space is a beautifully converted warehouse β open, airy, and warmly lit π‘. Itβs not super quiet (not a formal date spot), but the vibe is lively and perfect for conversations with friends or a special celebration. Service was attentive but not intrusive β they anticipated everything we needed π§‘. Reservations are recommended β we saw people waiting around 8 PM. In short: It feels like a little slice of New York right here in Nashville. π 1411 5th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208 β° Sun-Thu: 5β9 PM | Fri & Sat: 4:45β10 PM #Nashville #5thAndTaylor #DateNight #HiddenGems #FoodReview
