🍽️ Paris Hidden Gem Restaurant | Coco Rocco

After work on Friday, I visited the legendary restaurant Coco Rocco near my office in Puteaux. I've heard so many recommendations from my colleagues, and finally, I got to experience it myself. (Friday night dinners out are truly joyful!) I made a reservation directly on their official website, which was super convenient and saved us from the hassle of waiting in line. The first impression upon entering was: the atmosphere is truly amazing! It's filled with Italian charm, the decor is stylish, and the dim lighting instantly relaxes you. We ordered Neapolitan pizzas, which were even more impressive than the ones I've had at Cassa di Peppe! The crust was soft and just right, with a perfect chew and stretch, and the cheese was abundant! Especially the Margherita pizza 🍕, the tomato sauce 🍅 was incredibly fresh, and you could tell they used very fresh tomatoes— the quality was evident with each bite. The Regina pizza was also generously topped with ham and mushrooms, making every bite rich and satisfying. In addition to the pizzas, we also had the burrata cheese, and the moment it was cut open, it was pure therapy! The cheese was rich, creamy, and smooth. The tiramisu at the end also deserves praise, with the mascarpone cream being soft and light, the coffee and cocoa aromas well-defined, and the ladyfingers just the right amount of sweet, not overly rich at all. There's also a fun detail—their restroom walls are lined with different fruit and floral-scented 🍊🌺 hand sanitizers, and you can choose whichever you like, which is super novel and a delightful surprise. The waitstaff were extremely enthusiastic throughout the entire experience, and every detail made us feel very cared for, as if we were in Italy. We dined until almost ten o'clock, and there was still a long line outside the door when we left. I highly recommend it to those who live nearby or work in La Défense!
