🏛️ Visiting the Guimet Museum in Paris 🏛️

Paris is home to a whopping 167 museums of all sizes. Most museums offer free entry to young people under 26 and seniors over 60. Plus, the first Sunday of every month is free for everyone. Today, I'm visiting the Guimet Museum. This museum primarily showcases Asian cultures, featuring porcelain, calligraphy, utensils, statues, Buddha figures, clothing, and furniture from countries like China, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia... Until January 13, 2025, there's a special exhibition at the Guimet Museum on "Gold Artifacts from the Ming Dynasty in China." 👏 What deserves the most praise is the museum's arrangement of free professional guided tours for each exhibition hall. Every 15 minutes, the guides introduce the cultures of various countries through "essence/humor/poetry/observation." [Strong] I won't comment on the guided tours of other countries' exhibitions. But the guide at the Chinese exhibition was very professional. He introduced porcelain from the Ming and Qing dynasties, explained traditional elements like dragons, phoenixes, yin and yang, bats, pomegranates, peaches... A crowd of foreigners and children listened with great interest, and some even took notes seriously 👍 #ParisMuseums #GuimetMuseum #NationalMuseumofAsianArts #ParisAsianCulturalMuseum #FreeMuseumVisit
