🍽️ What to Eat in Asheville, NC?
Just went with my parents after visiting Shoji Spa & Resort—here’s what we ate! 1-3: Chestnut for Brunch 🥂 Cocktails were amazing! 4-5: Isa’s French Bistro 🍽️ Great dinner—generous portions and reasonable prices. 6: Double D’s Coffee & Desserts ☕️ Super Instagrammable spot! 7: Chocolate Fetish 🍫 Because… chocolate. 8: Drove to Gatlinburg 🏞️ Wanted to hike but it was too windy 🌬️, so we had milkshakes at The Crazy Mason instead! 9: Took the Gatlinburg Skylift 🚡 $34 per person—nice views, but maybe not for young kids (no safety belts!). After a 3-hour drive, Mom didn’t feel like pizza 🍕, so we tried: 📍 Red Ginger Dim Sum & Tapas 🥟 82 Patton Ave, Asheville It was okay… not as good as Atlanta’s dim sum though 😅 (forgot to take pics!). Parking available in the back garage. Asheville downtown is super photogenic 📸! Loved the vibe—some nights, locals gather and play drums in the streets 🥁. ✨ Pro tip: Make reservations on Saturdays! We couldn’t get into a Japanese place, so we went to: 📍 Shanghai Dumpling House 🥢 37 Biltmore Ave, Asheville 🅿️ Park in the garage next to White Duck Taco Shop Their soup dumplings (XLB) are JUICY and delicious 🧡! Order one portion of dumplings and water per person—skip the other dishes ❌. Gatlinburg was packed with tourists but my parents enjoyed walking around. Sadly, trails were closed due to high winds 🏔️🚧. #BrunchTime #AshevilleEats #NorthCarolina #FoodDiary #TravelWithParents #DimSumLover #USATravel #FoodAndFun
