🍽️ What to Eat in Rochester｜Vern's: My Happy Home Away From Home After living in Rochester for a while, certain spots become your "happy home away from home"—and for me, that’s Vern's! ❤️ I’ve been there over ten times now, and from my first visit till today, it’s always delivered consistent quality and a warm atmosphere that soothes my soul (and stomach)～ 🏡✨ 📍 Address: Near downtown Rochester, easy to get to with convenient parking. The interior is simple and modern—soft lighting, spacious seating, great for catching up with friends, dates, or even dining solo～ 🕯️ 🍴 Food Experience: Recently noticed Vern's updated their menu! Tried two Specials, both delightful surprises: 🐷 Pork Chop This pork chop is incredible! Juicy and tender, seared to a slight crisp outside while staying pink and moist inside—cooked perfectly～ Served with a slightly sweet apple sauce that cuts through the richness, plus roasted veggies and mashed potatoes. So satisfying! 🍎🥔 🐟 Cod The cod is pan-seared golden and crispy on the outside, while the flesh remains snowy white and flaky—melts in your mouth! 🍋 Paired with a light lemon butter sauce, quinoa, and roasted asparagus—healthy and delicious! 🌿 🍟 Side Highlight: Fries Gotta give a special shout-out to their fries! 🍟 Freshly fried, crispy outside and fluffy inside, sprinkled with sea salt and herbs—so aromatic～ I always order an extra portion to dip in ketchup or mayo. Can’t stop eating them! 🌿 Ambiance & Service: The staff at Vern's are always smiling and friendly, with reasonable pacing. The background music is soft, not too loud—great for conversation～ It can get busy on weekend evenings, so booking ahead is recommended! 📅 💖 Why a "Happy Home"?
