🕊️Hidden Gem Mediterranean Spot in Upper West Side: Dagon 🍽️✨
Restaurant Week’s $45 three-course menu is full of treasures, and I struck gold again with this place! 🏆 On a Wednesday night, it was almost fully packed with coworkers catching up after work. Just a heads-up, the Restaurant Week menu on their website doesn’t match what’s actually offered, so go with what’s available on-site. 📍 Dagon ✨ Appetizers Fried Cauliflower: A must-order! Eat it while it’s hot—it’s amazing! The other two appetizers were solid too, no complaints here. ✨ Main Courses Roasted Lamb (+$15): The star of the show! So flavorful, served with lamb marrow—everyone at the table loved it. 🐑🔥 Salmon: I personally loved this! The salmon was perfectly seared, paired with slightly tangy veggies—very balanced. (Though my boyfriend wasn’t a fan of the sides, so it’s a matter of taste.) 🐟🍋 Hanger Steak Skewer: A miss. Ordered Medium Rare, but it was so tough—not recommended! 🥩❌ ✨ Desserts Panna Cotta: Delicious! Not too sweet, highly recommend. 🍮 Milk & Cookie: Not great. The milk had a weird rose flavor and was sticky, and the cookie was just okay. Two huge pieces were way too much—proceed with caution. 🥛🍪 ✨ Mocktails Only two options (see pic), but both were refreshing. I personally preferred the cucumber one. 🥒🍹 #VibeyRestaurants #MediterraneanCuisine #NYCFood #HiddenGems #FoodieLife #RestaurantRecs #RestaurantsIWontStopRevisiting
