Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

📍|My Favorite Seaside Spots in Edinburgh 🌊💙

📍 Newhaven A beautiful harbor with tons of seafood restaurants, but my absolute favorite is a fishmonger’s shop. The seafood is ultra-fresh and varied—I’d happily take an hour-long trip just to buy some! Pro tip: Go in the morning for the best catch! 🌞 🏠 Shop name: Welch Fishmongers 📍 Portobello Beach The most famous (and busiest!) beach in Edinburgh 🏖️. I don’t go as often now, but it’s a must-visit when you first arrive. I still love stopping by my favorite brunch spot here—sunny days are lovely, but there’s something magical about this place on a moody, rainy day too. ☔❤️ 🍴 Name: The Beach House 📍 Cramond Island Went here for my birthday this year! The coolest part? You have to check the tide times before going—the path to the island is only safe to cross at low tide! 🌊⏳ 🔍 Check tides on Google: "safe crossing times Cramond Island" 📍 Silverknowes Beach Probably the least hyped on social media, but it’s become my go-to spot—quiet, stunning, and peaceful. You can see Cramond Island and the Forth Bridge from here. If you love walking, you can hike along the coastline to Cramond Island (about 1 hour) with gorgeous views all the way. On calm days, it even feels a bit like a Japanese seaside! ⛱️🌊 👩🏼‍🦰 Next up: Edinburgh’s nearby hidden coastal gems! I’m obsessed with the sea—any other quiet seaside spots you’d recommend? 💬👇 #Edinburgh #VisitEdinburgh #EdinburghSeaside #EdinburghViews #EdinburghEats
