Out of all the cities I visited during my recent trip to Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary, Vienna was the one that surprised me the most! There’s so much to see — stunning architecture 🏛️, and the art and cultural atmosphere are just unbeatable 🎼🖼️. If you’re spending two nights in Vienna, here are two experiences you absolutely MUST NOT miss!!! 1️⃣ Concert at the Vienna Golden Hall I’m sure a concert here is already on your list, but let me tell you — DON’T just go… be sure to get a SEATED ticket! 🎟️ A lot of people on Xiaohongshu recommend standing tickets — please ignore them 🙅‍♀️ Not only should you get a seated ticket, try to get one closer to the front! The experience is completely different. The conductor is the heart of the whole performance — especially during audience interaction moments, which are incredibly fun! Sitting up close, you can clearly see the musicians’ expressions and feel their energy. You’ll be fully immersed! 🎫 Tickets: https://tickets.musikverein.at 📌 Notes: Make sure you select “Großer Musikvereinssaal” — that’s the Golden Hall. Don’t book the wrong venue! You can choose your seat using the seating map online. (I was in a hurry and just picked a price category — paid €109 but got a €139 seat at the box office. No idea why… just lucky I guess! 🍀) 2️⃣ Light Show at Votive Church I’ve seen light shows before (even in Shanghai), but experiencing one inside a church was something else!
