🇦🇹 Austria Day 1: Vienna Travel Diary ✨

Just arrived for my 4-day, 3-night Austrian adventure! (Full cost breakdown coming later—this is just my personal travel log.) 📝 🚆 Transportation Noon: Landed at Vienna Airport ✈️ Train to city: Used the ÖBB app (or buy tickets on-site). Trains run on schedule (check ÖBB for timings). Clear onboard displays—super easy to navigate! €4.50 (Pro tip: If taking multiple trains, check for discount passes! 🎫) Metro (U6 line): Similar to subway systems elsewhere. Bought a single ticket (€2.40)—watch your stop as signs aren’t as clear as trains! 🚇 🏙️ Afternoon City Walk Dropped bags at the hotel by 2 PM and started my Vienna highlights tour! 🌆 (Saved all key spots on Google Maps beforehand for easy navigation.) 📍 Stops Included: Vienna City Hall (Rathausplatz) 🏛️ Sisi Statue (Empress Elisabeth) 👑 Austrian Parliament Building 🏛️ Café Central (Long queue—maybe next time! ☕🚶‍♀️) Plague Column (Pestsäule) ⚰️ (Super crowded!) St. Stephen’s Cathedral ⛪ (Stunning Gothic architecture—always awe-inspiring!) Mozarthaus Vienna 🎼 Vienna State Opera 🎭 Mozart Monument 🎵 Hofburg Palace � ✅ Basically covered Vienna’s entire historic center in one go! (Been to many European cities, so I’m in "been there, done that" mode—not too many photos. 😅) 🚶‍♀️ Missed but Worth Mentioning (If You Have Time!): Zollamtssteg (Green Bridge from Before Sunrise) 🌉 Alt & Neu Record 🎶 (Vinyl lovers, this one’s for you!) Hundertwasserhaus 🎨 (Colorful & quirky!) Mariahilfer Straße 🛍️ (Shopping street!) ☕ Vienna’s Café Culture So many cozy cafés perfect for a slow afternoon with an iced latte under the sun! ☀️ (Planned to stop at one but got distracted by a sushi spot—ended up eating sashimi instead! 🍣) Tonight’s plan: Rest up, then hunt for Viennese coffee & gelato! 🍨 #WorldTravel 🌍 #TravelMemories ✈️ #ClassicalArchitecture 🏛️ #Vienna
