🇦🇹 Innsbruck ~ My Favorite City of This Trip! 🌸 Part 1
🚆 Transportation Took the German Rail (DB) direct from Munich Hbf → Innsbruck Hbf 🚄 Train RJ 85 | ⏰ 11:32 - 13:18 (under 2 hours) 📸 Must-Visit Spots 1️⃣ Triumphal Arch 2️⃣ Maria-Theresien-Strasse (with St. Anne’s Column—Jay Chou’s photo spot!) 3️⃣ City Tower (Stadtturm) 4️⃣ Imperial Palace (Hofburg) 5️⃣ Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) 6️⃣ Swarovski Crystal Worlds (⚠️ Closes at 7 PM!) 7️⃣ Nordkette Mountain ⏳ Itinerary Change Due to Weather! Originally planned: Day 1 (afternoon): Spots 1-6 Day 2 (full day): Nordkette Mountain But! Nordkette is best in clear weather—so we swapped days last-minute when we saw Day 2 would be cloudy! Sadly, this meant skipping the Alpine Zoo (closes at 5 PM). 💡 Pro Tips 1️⃣ Innsbruck Card (48h: €79) 💳 Bought at Nordkette Cable Car station (Innsbruck Congress) (cash only!). Covers: All attractions + public transport (Nordkette cable car + Swarovski = already pays for itself!). Hotel "Welcome Card" only covers buses—skip it! 2️⃣ Nordkette Mountain 🏔️🚠 Follow the signs—super easy to navigate! Don’t miss the "Top of Innsbruck" photo spot at the summit! 📸 3️⃣ Layer Up! ❄️ It’s chilly up there—bring an extra jacket! 4️⃣ Swarovski Shuttle Bus 🚌💎 Departs from Innsbruck Hbf (main station)—go early for seats! Return trip? Often standing room only (25-30 min "thrilling" ride 😆). 5️⃣ Golden Roof Museum ✨ Free with Innsbruck Card! Fun perk: A machine takes your photo and emails it to you! 6️⃣ City Tower Climb 🏰 Tiring but worth it—360° city views at the top! (Wheeze…) 7️⃣ Train Station Toilets = €0.50 🚽 Better to "go" at your hotel! Innsbruck = Alpine charm + perfect logistics! ❤️🏔️ #AustriaTravel #InnsbruckAdventures #SoloTravel #TravelHacks #AlpsMagic ✨
