Enter through a small door off Josefsplatz (last pic)—while less ornate than Vienna’s Baroque churches, its historical weight is unmatched. 👑 Royal Legacy 1634–1918: Served as the Habsburgs’ court church. Wedding of Empress Sisi & Franz Joseph I took place here! 💍 Hearts of 54 Habsburg royals rest in silver urns (Loreto Chapel, right altar—closed to public). ❤️⚱️ Canova’s tomb for Archduchess Maria Christina (a moving "dialogue between life & death"). 🎶 Musical Magic Catch the Sunday 11 AM Mass for a choir + orchestra performance (with two pipe organs!).
