Hereβs a detailed one-day guide perfect for car-free travelers looking for a relaxing weekend. π Getting There: 1οΈβ£ By Ferry: Book a day in advance on Port Phillip Ferries β Docklands β Geelong 2οΈβ£ By Train: Take the V/Line from Southern Cross Station β about 1 hour ride π πΊοΈ Itinerary: 1οΈβ£ Geelong Gallery πΌοΈ β Free entry! Small but lovely, with a pretty garden next to it. 2οΈβ£ National Wool Museum π β $12 entry (we skipped it but browsed the wool products at the gift shop!). 3οΈβ£ Eastern Beach ποΈ Cunningham Pier & iconic arch πΈ Giant Sky Wheel π‘ β $10 for 9 full rotations with panoramic views! Geelong Waterfront β² β Classic photo spot with palm trees π΄ Outdoor pool & diving platform nearby π (change rooms and showers available!) 4οΈβ£ Geelong Botanic Gardens πΈ β A scenic coastal walk leads you here. Small but packed with beautiful plants (watch out for mosquitoes! π¦). 5οΈβ£ Geelong Gaol Museum ποΈ β A former prison with chilling exhibits about inmate life.
