🇦🇺 Tasmania|A Perfect Day Wandering in Launceston 😊

Flew into Launceston early this morning and decided to take it easy – no rushing, no strict plans. Ended up skipping the planned Platypus Centre and just explored at my own pace. And it turned out to be such a joyful day! 🌿 I spent time at City Park – so green and peaceful 🌳. There’s even a Japanese macaque enclosure with funny red-faced monkeys 🐵. I wandered around, sat on a bench, and just soaked up the sun. Pure relaxation ☀️. Then I headed to Cataract Gorge Reserve – and it totally exceeded my expectations! I originally thought about taking the bus, but ended up walking – and it was the best decision. The path along the river is beautiful and easy 🚶‍♀️💧. Near the cable car area, I spotted wallabies! And yes – I even got to PET one! 🦘 The ranger said it was okay – he was soft and so cute… and later I found out he was actually a grandpa wallaby 😂❤️. The swimming pool area was lively with people sunbathing and even some wild swimming and climbing 🏊‍♂️🧗. I ended up staying till almost 5 PM – didn’t want to leave! ℹ️ Note: The suspension bridge is under maintenance until May. What a wonderful day – saw animals I’d never seen before and just chilled like a local. So grateful! ✨ #Wanderlust #Tasmania #Launceston #AustraliaTravel #TakeItEasy #TravelSlow #WallabyLove #NatureVibes
