🇦🇺 Toowoomba: The Flower Capital I Fall in Love With Every Year 🌸

Toowoomba, known as Australia’s Garden City, hosts a stunning flower festival every year! Located about 1.5 hours’ drive from Brisbane 🚗, it’s perfect for a day trip. Public transport is limited, so driving or booking a car is recommended. The flowers were gorgeous—though I wish I’d picked a sunnier day ☀️. Would’ve taken way more photos! 📸 Here’s a quick rundown of the gardens I visited: 🌿 Picnic Point: A pretty basic lookout tbh. Nice view but nothing special – just a flat-topped hill below. 👑 Queens Park: A must-visit! This is where the floral magic happens 💫. There’s a lookout with panoramic views – definitely the highlight. 🌺 Laurel Bank Park: Features a giant 75th-anniversary floral display 🌼. Looks amazing even from above! 🚂 Spring Bluff Station Garden: A cute spot with a train track – occasional freight trains pass by 🚆. Some small flower beds along the sides. Worth a quick stop if you have a car. 🌄 Cunningham’s Crest Lookout (on the way back): Wooden stairs with Indigenous stories and illustrations – quiet and meaningful. The view here is WAY better than Picnic Point! Perfect place to sip coffee ☕ and gaze into the distance. ☔ Pro tip: Choose a sunny day! Rain might keep you cool, but it ruins the photos 😅 #Toowoomba #Australia #FlowerFestival #GardenCity #DayTrip #Queensland #ExploreAustralia
